Leprosy is one of the infectious diseases that is currently present in Mexico and so far a total of 26 cases have been reported throughout the country.
This disease is considered one of the most dangerous infectious diseases because if it is not treated in time it can cause progressive and permanent disability.

In which state have cases of Leprosy been reported during 2024?
There are several states that have been affected with cases of leprosy, according to information from the National Epidemiological Surveillance System. There are at least 10 entities where the appearance of this disease has been recorded, these being the following:
Coahuila
Chiapas
Chihuahua
Guanajuato
Warrior
Michoacan
Morelos
New Lion
Oaxaca
Quintana Roo
San Luis Potosi
Sinaloa
Tamaulipas...
