Miyun County, China: Farmers say their land was used as an industrial dump by Hyundai

Locals living in Miyun County, just outside the city of Beijing, say their farmland has been used as an industrial dump site by an auto factory for over three years. Beijing News said the waste originated from a factory owned by Korean automaker Hyundai. Although the company was fined 180,000 yuan by the local government, residents have not received any compensation.
