RIVM: number of infections with British variant from 11 to 50 people
The number of people in the Netherlands diagnosed with the new British corona variant has risen from 11 to about 50. The RIVM reports.
The new virus has already been diagnosed in about 30 people in the Rotterdam-Rijnmond region, largely linked to an outbreak at a primary school. The British variant was also diagnosed six times in a cluster of infections in the Amsterdam region.
