CLARA SHIZUE SHIMODA (nee KATO) Passed away peacefully and painlessly on Friday, February 4, 2011. She was with her loving husband of over 60 years, Joe Shimoda, who had devotedly cared for her while she recuperated from an accidental fall and recent flu. Her family and friends had each hoped she would regain her mobility and independence, but the strain of illness became too much to bear and she passed suddenly due to heart failure.
