ROSS , Dougal James Born December 30, 1977 in Ballarat, Australia, passed away in Regina, Saskatchewan on December 14, 2009 from H1N1 and ensuing complications. A talented Red Seal Chef, an artist, a music lover, full of compassion, a man of many parts. Predeceased by his beloved cat, Guinness. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, father, brother and sister-in-law - Marie, Malcolm, Andrew and Vanessa, by his relatives, and by his friends. Sask. man, 30, dies of H1N1

REGINA ? The H1N1 virus has claimed another life in Saskatchewan.

The death of a man in his 30s, with underlying health conditions, was reported to the Public Health Agency of Canada on Thursday. That brings the number of H1N1 deaths in the province to 15. Most of these people had serious underlying health conditions and fall into the following age categories:

* Two men in their 70s;

* One man in his 60s;

* Four women and two men in their 50s;

* A woman in her 40s;

* Two men in their 30s;

* Two children under 20 years of age; and

* An infant

The H1N1 mass immunization clinics are continuing at the former Robert Usher Collegiate, 1440 9th Ave. N. The last clinic of the year will be held Monday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Clinic doors will reopen Jan. 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In order to staff mass H1N1 immunization clinics, public health nursing services were scaled back in a number of areas, including the Travel Health Centre in Regina.

"People can call for appointments now and we'll get them in as quickly as we can, but we won't have a full complement of nurses until January 4," said Lori Foster, spokeswoman for the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region.

Those interested in booking an appointment at the travel centre are asked to call 766-7600.

Beginning in January, parents can call to book immunization services for children 18 months and four years of age.

Call 766-7536 to make an appointment at the 1911 Park St. clinic and phone 766-7533 for the clinic at 204 Wascana St. and rural areas near Regina. Residents in other rural areas are asked to call their local public health office.

Prenatal classes will begin in the new year. Those wishing to attend can register by calling 766-7733. And on Jan. 6, the Breastfeeding Support Centre at 204 Wascana St. will reopen. The drop-in service will be available from 1 to 4 p.m.

On behalf of the region, Foster thanked residents for their patience and understanding while public health nursing services were adjusted to accommodate the pandemic H1N1 mass immunization campaign.
