The anti-epizootic department in Bucharest?s district 1 decided Monday afternoon to close Lonea and Saveni streets and to create a single access filter towards the isolated perimeter, via Petrila Blvd, due to bird flu suspicions.

Bucharest. A new suspected case of bird flu was registered in sector one of the Romanian capital, Mediafax reported. An area covering two blocks in the sector will be quarantined and will be accessed through filters.
