A baby of one year and one month, of Guararapes, which was admitted at the last Wednesday in the Neonatal ICU at the Holy House of Aracatuba, died on the afternoon of Friday (25). According to the hospital, the death was confirmed by around 16pm. The child went through treatment with Phosphate Oseltamivir (medication that prevents complications of flu, known as Tamiflu), but couldn't resist.
The body was sent to IML (Forensic Medicine Institute) for examination and autopsy released to the family. The award with the cause of death must be disclosed within 30 days. The Epidemiological Surveillance of Aracatuba informed that the material for examination for diagnosis of the disease would be collected. This year, Aracatuba registered three positive cases of H1N1, no deaths. In 2013, it was a case, and a death.
