The Saskatoon Health Region is nearing the end of its supply of flu-vaccine.

?On Saturday, we are anticipating that we will use all of the vaccine,? said Karen Grauer, manager of disease control and public health with the SHR. ?So we are wanting to notify those individuals who had booked an appointment that we may not have vaccine available for them next week.?...

Sask. City Hospital hosts mass flu clinic due to huge demand

Saskatoon Health Region phones are ringing off the hook with requests for flu shots.

"They can't keep up with the calls," Karen Grauer, manager of disease control with population and public health, said Thursday.

As a result, a mass walk-in flu shot clinic scheduled for Saturday has been moved to City Hospital to cope with demand.
