Three Wando High School students were diagnosed with chickenpox this week ? an issue that is not a major cause for concern but is unusual, health officials said.

The Charleston County School District reported the news to parents in an email.

Spokesman Dan Head said there have been no other reported cases as of Thursday afternoon...

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) ? A number of students at Wando High School have been diagnosed with chicken pox, and now the state's health department is stepping in with recommendations.

Officials at the Department of Health and Environmental Control say the first cases showed up March 16 and several others have been diagnosed in the last four weeks...
