School water fountains helping shread H1N1 virus

SAN ANTONIO -- Something children come in contact with just about every day at school is spreading the H1N1 <NOBR id=itxt_nobr_1_0 style="FONT-WEIGHT: normal; FONT-SIZE: 100%; COLOR: darkgreen">virus
</NOBR>.
Health officials are urging parents to caution their children about using school water fountains.
Experts warn that students should not their mouths on the spouts and encourage them to wash their hands after touching the knob or handle.
To combat the spread of <NOBR id=itxt_nobr_4_0 style="FONT-WEIGHT: normal; FONT-SIZE: 100%; COLOR: darkgreen">H1N1
</NOBR>, the three largest school districts in the San Antonio area, Northside ISD, North East ISD, and SAISD have already begun H1N1 vaccinations. The vaccinations are expected to continue past the holiday break.
"Northside ISD is such a large public school system that it's going to take us all the way through March to do all the students in Northside," said Pascual Gonzalez of Northside ISD.
