Nine cotton-topped tamarin monkeys arrived at the Oregon Zoo May 22 after long drive from Harvard Medical School. Six of them, including the parents, died just two days later. Testing was inconclusive, but showed the deceased monkeys showed signs of shock.

Jennifer Davis, a curator, said in a release from the zoo the baby was cold and shivering when staff first discovered the dead monkeys in May...
