The epidemic of flu A has received from itself the second death in the Region. It is a question as a woman of approximately 40 years that there died on Sunday in the UCI of the Mulberry trees Meseguer, hospital to which it had been moved from Caravaca. The patient developed a pneumonia immediately after the flu that finished with his life. Sources of the Commission of Health confirmed yesterday the death, which joins that of another 37-year-old woman, who died at the end of February in the Queen Sofia.

Eighteen persons are joined the different units of taken care intensively of the Region for flu A, according to information of the Service Murciano of Health (SMS). The saturation in the UCI has led to The Arrixaca to suspending surgical interventions this week, while the Mulberry trees Meseguer he has programmed major ambulatory surgery, which does not need revenue, to leave free beds.

The epidemic of flu A keeps the UCI of the hospitals saturated

The hospitals of the Region continue to the finished fruit of the epidemic of flu and of other respiratory proper illnesses of this epoch of the year. According to information facilitated by the General Direction of Sanitary Assistance, 116 patients with flu A remain incomer, of that 29 are in the intensive care units (UCI) of the different sanitary centers. Most of these patients presents risk factors.
