Summary of reported side effects of Pandemrix - the vaccine against influenza A (H1N1) v
Since the previous compilation October 16, according to information from the company a total of about 500 000 doses of Pandemrix distributed in the country. A total of one hundred adverse event reports from health care and an equal number of consumers received by the MPA. Reporting pattern is assessed at present not differ from expected results.
Investigation is ongoing by several reports concerning the assessment of the vaccination.
The majority of the reported adverse event cases of expected and known reactions
? soreness, redness and pain at the injection site and in the arm
? flu symptoms such as fever, chills, fatigue, headaches of a bit more powerful character, body aches and malaise.
The fewer number of cases reported symptoms of nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea, dizziness, rashes and insomnia and also a number of cases of allergic reactions
