Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas .- A thousand 800 people became ill with tuberculosis during the year, reported the Ministry of Health of Tamaulipas.
According to official records, was one thousand 300 new cases of pulmonary tuberculosis cases and the rest were left behind.
"We attended more than one thousand 300 new cases of pulmonary tuberculosis who provide comprehensive care and free treatment strictly controlled and monitored for six months," said health secretary, Norberto Trevi?o Garcia-Manzo.
"For this disease recover the health of over a thousand patients and avoid the death of 650 people."
He said that to strengthen the fight against this disease, the regional center opened TB in Reynosa, which provides support for the diagnosis of the disease.
