There is no evidence that tuberculosis has spread at Wilson Central High School with about 450 students and staff tested after a student was recently diagnosed.

There were 401 students and staff tested through the Tennessee Department of Health and the rest by a private provider, health department spokeswoman Elizabeth Hart said.

"At this time the Tennessee Department of Health recommends no special precautions related to TB for students and staff at Wilson Central High School," Hart said...

...The 450 students and staff tested were identified based on close personal contact with the infected student on a regular basis, according to a letter sent by Wilson Central Principal Travis Mayfield on Jan. 22....
