Two more Scots have died after catching swine flu, taking the country's death toll to 53.
An older patient treated by NHS Lothian died after contracting H1N1. The patient had underlying health conditions.
However, an adult who died in the NHS Lanarkshire region had no other recorded illnesses.
Health Secretary Nicola Sturgeon confirmed the deaths on Thursday.
She said: "I am saddened to hear of these latest deaths and my thoughts are with both families.
"H1N1 is mild for most but if you are worried about your symptoms or the symptoms of a friend or family member please seek urgent medical advice."
December will see the launch of the second phase of the country's vaccination programme.
Children aged between six months and five years will now be able to access the jab alongside other priority groups.
