According to the Republican Center of Hygiene and Epidemiology, March 2 epidsituatsiya received a "fragile", whereas in recent weeks was assessed as "unstable well."
According to the monitoring, on March 1 for medical attention with signs of ARI applied to 2,5 times more people than the previous day.
Almost 60% applied - children under the age of 14 years.
Among the adult population registered 4 cases of seasonal influenza and 9 cases of pneumonia.
Transnistrian epidemiologists have reported that in February, 381 people fell ill with pneumonia, 9217 - ARI, including 115 transferred influenza.
Comparative data showed that the incidence of ARI was 1,755.5 cases per 100 thousand people and, thus, by 25% over the same period in 2009.
The incidence of influenza in February, recorded at 29.5 cases per 100 thousand people, which is 7 times higher than last year.
Transnistria continued mass immunization against pandemic influenza, new cases of the virus A (H1N1) have been identified.
