January 31, 2011 -Tomaso's of Blue Lake, Ca. is recalling its 12 ounce CAESAR DRESSING. People who have allergies to EGGS run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

The recalled Caesar dressing was distributed to retail grocery stores in Humboldt county, CA.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

The recall was initiated after it was discovered that egg containing product was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of egg on the labeling.

Caesar is packaged in 12 oz. glass jars with UPC code 748535 102058.

The problem has been corrected by Tomaso's by removing mislabeled products from retail sales and printing on label the use of eggs in mayonnaise on labels in their formulations.
