The newspaper report, however, characterized the institution in another way.

?Entering the NAMRU headquarters, you feel you have stepped into a horror film. The place is silent and shrouded in secrecy. Doctors and employees [work in] white robes, gloves, and caps, and sometimes also masks. The organisms they work with are a kind of bacterial biological weapon, which, if deployed, could exterminate the entire Egyptian nation, or any other nation.

World Net Daily has no link to this article, but they say the source is from an organization that critics say has had some problems with the context in which translations are presented in the past. More on the debate here.

Whatever the reality in that debate, World Net Daily and the institute they reference do not link to the original Al-Wafd article so we can attempt to translate it ourselves.

I wouldn't be surprised if fringe thinking and propaganda is becoming more prevalent in other countries, though. Seems to be the trend here in the US.
