Visited house to house survey is done. 3. ORS Packets Distributed. 4. Given Health Education regarding Sanitation and Personal hygiene and food contamination. 5. 5 Water Samples collected and sent to district Public Health Lab Tirupathi for Analysis. 6. Rectal Swab Taken and sent to Microbiology Department, SVRR Medical College for Analysis. 7. MPDO and RWS AE visited the village. 8. District Epidemiologist and MPHEO, Epidemic cell Oo.DM&HO,Chittoor visited the village . HBsAG : NEGATIVE. COLLECTED 2 NOS. BLOOD SERUM SAMPLES FROM EACH PATIENT AND PROCCESS IS GOING ON TO SEND TO GMCH, MICROBIOLOGY DEPARTMENT. WAITINF FOR RESULT. ONE CASE FOUND POSITIVE IN KIT (RAPID) TEST. DR. SILPI SAIKIA, DSO, IDSP DIMA HASAO, HAFLONG IS INFORMED BY DR. L. REMA, SUDPT. OF HAFLONG CIVIL HOSPITAL, ON 08022013 AND SHE IS IMMEDIATELY ATTENED TO THE HAFLONG CIVIL HOSPITAL AND OBSERVED BOTHE CASES AND ADVICE TO COLLEC TO SAMPLES FOR INVESTIGATION. SHE INSTRUCTED TO IC URBAN HEALTH CENTRE, HAFLONG TO CONDUCED HOUSE TO HOUSE SURVEY IMMEDIATELY IN AEFFECTED VILLAGES. ANM OF RESPECTED AREA DID HOUSE TO OUSE SURVEY AND NO SUCH CASES REPORTED. Severe arthralgia and joints swelling are common symptoms among the affected people. 27 Blood Smear were taken, tested at PHC lab and found negative for malaria. 15 Serum Samples were taken, tested at SE,ZET - Tirunelveli and found 10 positive for Chikungunya. Tirunelveli Medical College hospital reported 1 lab confirmed positive for chikungunya from the same village. House to House surveillance carriedout by VHNHIs. 3).Disinfection and Chlorination done in the entire village . 4). Antilarval work is carried out in all domestic and peridomestic. 5).
