There are about 29 reports of pandemic influenza A H1N1 in Alto Paran?, as recorded by the Regional Epidemiological Unit (EBU), but none was confirmed yet. Of the amount mentioned six are negative, eight are still under study, while the other fifteen were diagnosed as other categories of respiratory infections such as pneumonia, tonsillitis, bronchitis and bronchial pneumonia.
Medical consultations and notifications of Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) have increased in recent weeks.
Influenza is a highly communicable respiratory tract infections caused by influenza virus. Transmission occurs from person to person through tiny droplets that are generated by talking, coughing or sneezing.

SYMPTOMS
