Former president of the football team. Jose Ramon Tri?anes was a well known Cape Cross's neighbor. He had been president of the football team and the town had a restaurant.
Jose Ramon Tri?anes Vilas, 33, died about six o'clock yesterday afternoon at the Clinical Hospital of Santiago as a result of influenza A. From the moment that was known, his death made a strong impact in the area because it was a well known and appreciated, owner of a catering establishment at Cape Cross (Boiro) where he also chaired the football club of the town and various associations, such as neighborhood and the mussel, and had a strong social involvement, reports the Voice in Writing Barbanza. It was also known by the familiar nickname of O Fanado.
Jose Ramon was a healthy man, who suffered no previous pathologies, according to refer their friends. Nine days ago, apparently after he returned from buying in the auction, said in his company who was ill.
He went to Barbanza hospital where he was treated initially with pneumonia. By verifying that he did not respond, they tests for influenza A and, after testing positive, took him to the Clinic Hospital in Santiago, where he stayed for a week.
The last days were spent in the intensive care unit Compostela hospital, where his condition worsened and he was very serious in the early hours of yesterday afternoon. Presented, according to medical sources, bilateral pneumonia as a complication of influenza A. The patient had a worse until after the demise in mid-afternoon, and later transferred to the mortuary of Boiro (residence town of him).
A brother of Jose Ramon was also unwell, but his case has not been confirmed influenza A, as was feared, and has since recovered.
This has been the most serious case of influenza A treated so far in Clinic Hospital in Santiago. Since May, several people rushed to the Compostela hospital, although most of the cases presented, especially the early days, were false alarms and were discarded. The Department has two hotlines, with the numbers 902 400 116 and 981 953 400, which responds to the doubts raised about the disease. It also provides information on the website www.sergas.es/gripe.
