Woman dies of swine flu

Doha: Qatar has reported yet another death from swine flu, taking the toll to three, reported an official from the Supreme Council of Health.

The official told the Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the deceased was a 54-year-old Qatari woman, and was admitted to the intensive care unit at Hamad Medical Corporation on September 14.

She was suffering from acute pneumonia, high fever, and was being treated as an H1N1 patient. The woman died yesterday morning at 5:40am.

It is the third reported death from the H1N1 virus.
