Three more swine flu deaths in Karna; toll climbs to 30

19:25 HRS IST Bangalore, Sep 2 (PTI) The swine flu toll mounted to 30 in Karnataka with health officials today reporting that three more persons had succumbed to the virus.

Officials said a 31-year-old man, a resident of the city, succumbed to the deadly virus, while a 45-year-old man died of swine flu in the northern district headquarters town of Belgaum.

Officials here would not give the name of the victims nor the hospital where the patients were being treated.

A report from Sirsi in Uttara Kannada district said 36-year-old Shahida Misgar died early today in a private hospital, where she was admitted with fever and respiratory problems on August 31.

Her test results revealed that she was co-infected with H1N1.

No, that is the only 31 yo adm. on 8/27. DOD: 9/1. It's the only 31 yo I have at all.

Also, I do not see the 45 yo from Belgaum, Karnataka. So I do not believe he has been recorded. Do you have him?

I believe that the 45yo is new. (#123 for me)

I had counted the two 31yo techies as 2 seperate cases, but I suspect that they are one and the same, with officials playing coy with the details.
