The flu has claimed another life in Thunder Bay.
The latest death was reported in the Thunder Bay District Health Unit?s daily flu update on Thursday.
That brings to six the number of people with influenza who have died in Thunder Bay District since mid-December: five under age 65; one senior citizen.
Four of the victims suffered from the H1N1 virus.
The health unit says the number of laboratory-confirmed cases of influenza in the city remains at 93. Most of the patients are suffering from the H1N1 virus.
Meanwhile, visitor restrictions remain in place at Lakehead Manor where an outbreak of respiratory illness was declared last Friday.
