AHS warns of potential tuberculosis exposure at Calgary school

Alberta Health Services issued notices this week to 81 people who may have been exposed to a confirmed case of tuberculosis in Calgary.
AHS says the exposures were contained to one school in Calgary, and there is no risk to the general public.
Dr. David Strong, medical health officer with AHS, said the individual with confirmed tuberculosis was identified in June.
The only people considered at risk of being exposed are those who received the notification letters. AHS says the risk of transmission to the individuals is low and the case does not present ongoing risk to the school...
