MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The Montgomery County Health Department is confirming a second case of Tuberculosis in connection with Robert E. Lee High School.

Health Dept. spokeswoman Pam Fortner says the student who contracted TB had been in close contact with the initial student who tested positive in June.

Fortner says the second student was confirmed positive with an active case of TB on August 14...

The Alabama Department of Public Health is updating the numbers on those who have been tested for Tuberculosis after concern over the high number of Robert E. Lee High School students who haven't responded to the call to be tested.

So far, 61 of 148 people who need to be tested have done so...
