A s the province winds down its H1N1 immunization program this week, numbers show a lower proportion of Albertans were vaccinated and a higher rate died from the influenza compared to Canada as a whole.

This comes as the Health Quality Council of Alberta begins a review of H1N1 preparedness and response that will be ready by September, and will look at how the province dealt with last year's pandemic.

Last month, the chief public health officer of Canada, Dr. David Butler-Jones, said close to 50 per cent of all Canadians had been immunized, and in some provinces the number was higher than 70 per cent.

by September we will hopefully know already, how well the vaccine protects

compare Australia with Argentina the coming season or such

of course, some country/state might also publish how many of those with flu
were vaccinated. But there is apparantly some strange reluctance to do this.

And the vaccine came late.

Sweden would be interesting, or Japan ?
