99 cases of measles recorded in Cunene province


Ondjiva ? At least 99 cases of measles were diagnosed in the districts of Kwanhama, Cahama, Coroca in southern Cunene province, between the second fortnight of July and August 23.


The information was supplied to Angop on Monday by the supervisor of the epidemiological surveillance programme, Adelina Francisca.


According to her, two children died of measles in Cahama district and the disease is spreading to Kwanhama, having affected children aging from nine months to 15 years.

Luena - At least 94 suspect and 13 confirmed cases of measles were detected in medical posts in eastern Moxico province this month, Angop learned Wednesday here.
