Abstract
The spread of COVID-19 (COronaVIrus Disease 2019), due to SARS-CoV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome CoronaVirus 2) has taken on dramatic pandemic proportions, affecting over 100 countries in a matter of weeks. Italy has had 237,828 confirmed cases according to the Istituto Superiore di Sanit? as of May 13, and 34,448 deaths (1).
