A woman is hospitalized in intensive care in General Alvear under treatment by suffering from Influenza A.
The special nature of the case is that the influenza virus that affects the young man of 20 years is a variant of the H1N1 that is not yet established. The studies were "sent to the hospital Malbran (Buenos Aries) to perform the characterization of the virus," confirmed Nidia Martini director of the Argentine hospital nurses. The patient was hospitalized in intensive care since a fortnight ago but not by the flu-like symptoms, but by a generalized infection and a neuromuscular disease that carries from long time ago, the flu was detected after the last Friday and started treatment with antiviral drugs. The patients that were in the vicinity were also subjected to studies before the possibility of contagion.
In regard to the variant of the H1N1 virus that detected in the patient, the director of the Argentine Nurses gave further details not only and is limited to say that the shows were sent to Buenos Aires "to qualify".
