MADRID/ASTURIAS, 21 (EUROPE PRESS) Asturias registered 337,7 cases of flu for 100.000 inhabitants in the week from January 9 until January 15, being located as the seventh Spanish autonomous region with major case of contagions. On the other hand, from the beginning of the period 2010-2011 have notified to themselves 517 serious hospitalized confirmed cases of flu, 93 per cent infected by the virus A/H1N1, of that 59 per cent men and 41 per cent have been women (between that there were 23 pregnant women, 70 per cent of more than 24 weeks of gestation). 88 per cent of these cases were not vaccinated although even 78 per cent were presenting any factor of risk of complications of flu that it was favoring that there was recommended his vaccination (illnesses chronicle, pregnancy, obesity, major of 60 years).
