Adelaide: After dismissing further medical fears, Port Adelaide last night conceded that another three of its players had contracted viral meningitis.

The club refused to name them, but confirmed they were SANFL players. They have all been released from hospital.
The latest notification of bouts takes the toll to five, with John Butcher and Jarrad Redden having been diagnosed with the viral illness, which basically causes brain swelling...
