TWO Mt Sheridan residents struck down with dengue fever are likely to have been infected by the same source.
Tropical Public Health physician Dr Richard Gair said both cases, confirmed on Friday, had been identified as type three dengue.
He has urged people to see a doctor if they are feeling unwell.
"We haven't had any more cases, but we're now confident it's dengue,'' he said. "They've both been confirmed and both are type three, which means it's most likely from the same source.''
The Dengue Action Response Team will spend all week spraying the suburb.
