Before the outbreak of H1N1 influenza that occurred in the State of Chihuahua, the Ministry of Health of Baja California does not lower the guard on preventive measures against this disease, said Secretary of Health of the institution, Jos? Bustamante Moreno.
He said that in Baja California since January there have been only two cases of H1N1 influenza, of which 1 was recovered successfully and otherwise sadly passed away, who had risk factors that aggravated his condition sooner.
He stressed that the epidemic siege that the Ministry of Health implemented is through vaccination began in October 2010 and continues permanently, and there is sufficient supply of vaccine for the general population.

Bustamante Moreno said it is important that people not neglect preventive measures, among which are:
Wash hands frequently
Stay away from people with respiratory infection.
Do not greet with kisses and handshakes.
Do not share food, cups or cutlery.
Cover your mouth when sneezing or coughing up the forearm, not hand.
He said the presence of fever over 38 ?, or severe persistent cough, headache, poor appetite, malaise, or nasal congestion, you should go immediately to your nearest health center unit title.
