Notes: Due to water logging area. All these Villages are situated in hilly area there are so many smalls’ river and forest. And lack of awareness about malaria disease and no used mosquito net by them. P.F- 27 , P.V- 02 Medical team reached to effected Area with Medicine, Chlorine primaquin tablets distributed in affected area. Information regarding Malaria disease and their prevention has been communicated in community through IEC material by medical team. Surveillance house to house visit, Health education, slide collection done by Medical team also Investigation Open 010710 to tildate 470 taken sample. In which 68 P.F and P.V 05. Already investigated & treated ( cases) by Medical team (district& block level). At present situation is controlled.

Malaria Villages of Haweli Kharagpur PHC.
Cases: 18 Fatalities: 0 Outbreak: 09/08/2010 Report: 18/08/2010 Population: 20000
Notes: All affected villages are situated in hilly areas. Many small rivers and a vast forest area are found in affected zone. Many places are water logged. There is lack of awareness about malaria disease and no mosquito net is used by the people. More affected people belong to age group 1-10 years. Male and female both are equally affected by Malaria. All cases are found positive for PF. People live in unhygienic situation& mostly live in mixed dwellings with cattles (animals). Socio-Economic condition is very poor. Sources of drinking water are hand pump and well. Villager?s use water from both sources. Sample test - 189 PF -18, PV - 00 Medical team reached to effected area with medicine, chlorine,primaquin tablets distributed in affected area. Information regarding malaria disease and their prevention has been communicated in community through IEC material by medical team surveillance house to house visit, health education, slide collection done by medical team.
