Four-year-old child is the eighth victim of H1N1 flu in Alagoas
A four-year-old child was the eighth victim of the H1N1 flu (Influenza) in Alagoas this year. Hilary Sofia was hospitalized at the General State Hospital (HGE), in the neighborhood of Trapiche da Barra, Macei?. She died on Tuesday (11).
According to her family, Hilary Sofia had a flu picture one week after she had been vaccinated against the flu. Doctors believe she acquired the virus before being immunized.
Most recent survey released on Thursday (6), by the State Department of Health (Sesau) confirms 77 cases of the disease in the state in the first six months of the year.
