Brazil - Rio De Janeiro: Secretary of Health investigates death with suspicion of H1N1 in Resende

A woman died in the morning of this Saturday (13), in Resende

, in the South of the Rio of January, with suspicion of flu H1N1. The case is being monitored by the General office of Health, which sent a material to the Central Laboratory Noel Nutels, in the Rio of January. The decision that is going to confirm the cause of the death must be ready in 15 days.



The 57-year-old victim, was interned in the Hospital of Emergence with lack of air and serious pneumonia from Friday (12). This is the first suspicion of death for flu H1N1 this year in the local authority.



The disease had a world-wide epidemic in 2009, when it was still known like pig flu. The virus evolved and nowadays It is known like Influenza, or flu H1N1. In 2014, they were seven suspect cases in Resende, but all the examinations gave negative
