The State Department of Health (SES), by means of Epidemiological Surveillance, informed this Wednesday (9) that seven people in Maranhao are suspected of infection with H1N1 virus, which causes Avian Influenza A. In accordance with the SES, the patients notified and who have the possibility of being infected were submitted to exams, The results will be disseminated in up to 15 days.
'Part of the results will be disseminated by the state Central Laboratory and the other part was forwarded to the city of Bethlehem (PA). All measures to support these people are being taken, including the close monitoring, with proper treatment, these patients.
