About 120 students at Cal State, San Bernardino?s Palm Desert campus received letters Wednesday, encouraging them to get tested for tuberculosis after a classmate was diagnosed with the infectious disease.
However, the chances of acquiring the lung disease is minimal, according to Barbara Cole, director of disease control at Riverside County Department of Public Health.
