Change alert for H1N1 to green
The federal government lifted the alert by the General Board of Health.

Sat, 03/07/2010 - 6:27
Mexico .- After 14 months on full alert and a half, the Scientific Committee on Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance of Mexico City decided that the H1N1 virus traffic lights go from yellow to green, that is, the level low.

The local health secretary, Armando Ahued, said the action was complemented by the decision taken by the federal government on Tuesday lifted the alert by the General Board of Health.

"The green alert means authorities and citizens require the means to maintain basic health care and personal hygiene training and strengthening the institutions of government on security operations in the event of a health emergency like the one we live in 2009.
