Red Net Time News, June 16[FONT="Microsoft Yahei] (Correspondent Cui Le, Cao Zhaohui, Shen Yong) In order to further enhance the emergency response capabilities of the National (Hunan) Emergency Medical Rescue Team in response to major public health emergencies, and to carry out emergency medical rescue work in a strong, orderly and effective manner, from June 14th to 16th, the National (Hunan) Emergency Medical Rescue Team Hunan Provincial People’s Hospital 2024 Comprehensive Exercise was held in Pingjiang County, Yueyang City.[/FONT]
[FONT="Microsoft Yahei]The exercise was jointly hosted by the Hunan Provincial Health Commission and the Hunan Provincial People's Hospital. The business leader of the Medical Emergency Department of the Hunan Provincial Health Commission and the Party Secretary of the Hunan Provincial People's Hospital, Tan Lihong, and other leaders attended the exercise.
113 members of the National (Hunan) Emergency Medical Rescue Team of the Provincial People's Hospital, 12 various health emergency work and support vehicles, 1 rescue helicopter, and 3 water assault boats participated in the exercise.[/FONT]
[FONT="Microsoft Yahei]This exercise adopts a scenario-building and close-to-actual-combat approach, with the background of "a house collapsed in County B, City A, causing more than ten casualties. Because local medical resources could not meet emergency needs, City A requested support, and the provincial government emergency command launched a major disaster emergency response order, and ordered the Hunan Provincial People's Hospital National Emergency Medical Rescue Team to rush to the scene to carry out rescue work." It was carried out from the aspects of disaster assessment, establishment of functional teams, establishment of rescue bases, and division of treatment areas. In view of complex terrain, the exercise also opened up air rescue and water rescue channels, forming a multi-dimensional integrated rescue force of water, land and air, which won precious time for emergency rescue in extreme situations.[/FONT]
