Changhua County, a 58-year-old man with history of diabetes a new influenza H1N1 infection, hospitalization three weeks because of complicated pneumonia, multiple organ failure pronounced dead.
Changhua County Director of Health YE Yan-bo said, this patient did not do a good job diabetes control, about 20 years ago, retinopathy leading to binocular blindness, early in December last year for medical treatment, he developed fever, fast screening of new influenza-positive because of persistent fever, cough and other symptoms hospital treatment, in 30 days beyond resurrection.
YE Yan-Bo said, diabetes, hypertension and other chronic diseases and pregnant women are new influenza high-risk groups, such as no vaccination, suffered from a new influenza can easily cause complications.
