Circumstances INFLUENZA A (H1N1)
For Epid Week 27/2010 (4 to 10 July 2010)
For the week epid 27/2010 (4 to 10 July 2010), eight (8) ILI in the new cluster incident was reported from five (5) states as compared to five (5) cluster reported in the previous week, which is shown in Appendix 1 attached.
However, the number of new patients with symptoms of Influenza-Like Illness (ILI), which has been admitted to hospital for treatment in the same period showed a decrease of 6.6% of a total of 568 compared to 608 patients in the previous week. Inclusion in the remaining cases are still being treated across the country on the last day of epid week 27/2010 (July 10, 2010) is of 125 cases in 66 hospitals, including 10 private hospitals. Of these, only 39 patients or 10.3% were cases of Influenza A (H1N1) is confirmed by laboratory tests. ii.woman aged 34 years 34 weeks pregnant from Terengganu. Expert insights and results of clinical trials confirm that the cause of death was H1N1 with severe pneumonia and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome.
In the meantime, until July 12, 2010, a total of 96.2% was used H1N1 vaccine vial. The total number of H1N1 vaccine recipients is about 364.523 people, which is 99.301 people are front line staff MOH, 94.538 persons are not members of the task before the Ministry of Health (such as the Police, ATM, BOMBA, Immigration and other agency), and 170.684 people from target groups berkeutamaan. For information, H1N1 vaccines have been exhausted or nearly exhausted in most states except the state of Johor are still there are about 7.000 doses of vaccine remaining.
