They increased to 33 cases of influenza A in Posadas
POSADAS. The Chief of epidemiological surveillance in the province, Jorge Guti?rrez confirmed the appearance of 13 new cases of influenza A H1N1 in Posadas, who joined the 20 confirmed yesterday by the Minister of health, Oscar Herrera Ahuad. For his part, Guti?rrez stressed that patients who contracted the dangerous disease, 23 are children under 5 years, while the remaining are under the age of 18 and adults. On the other hand, the Chief of epidemiological surveillance, insisted on the importance of vaccination, since these new 33 infected, had not received this form of Influenza virus vaccine, it burst onto the public agenda after the outbreak of 2009.
