San Jose, Jan 24 (Prensa Latina) dengue cases increased more than 50 percent in Costa Rica, announced today the Department of Health Surveillance, Ministry of Health. In the first two weeks of this year there were 339 affected, against 226 in the same period in 2011, says the agency, according to Diario Extra. The Caribbean province of Limon is the province most affected by the virus, caused by the bite of aedes mosquito aegyptis.
