Costa Rica: Increase In AH1N1 Cases
Health officials report one death and 31 confirmed cases
The Ministerio de Salud (Minstry of Health) has expressed concern on the side of cases of people affected with the AH1N1 virus, this being part that people have lost their fear and changes in climate contributing to the circulation of the virus.
Ethel Maria Trejos, Director of Health Monitoring, said that laboratory results indicate and increase of people affected, but reminds that the AH1N1 is not the only virus circulating, but also the seasonal influenza virus that has already been identified in 31 cases.
This year so far there has been one death and eight more are infected - seven in San Jos? and one in Cartago...
