Earthquake Strikes off Indonesian Papua Coast

Jakarta. A 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck off the south coast of Papua on Wednesday at 6:18 p.m. Jakarta time.

The temblor happened 125 km (75 miles) north of Dobo, Kepulauan Aru, Indonesia, at a depth of 50 kilometers.

A tsunami warning has not been issued and there have been no reports of casualties.
