In the last 3 weeks 5 cases of this virus have registered in the province
The Department of Public Health of Ecuador confirmed the decease of a 52-year-old citizen with the virus AH1N1, also acquaintance as porcine flu, in the province of Manab?. The official added that including the case of the death, five cases of this flu have registered in the last three weeks in the province: three in Blanket, one in Montecristi and one in Portoviejo.
Two of the patients meet in intensive therapy artificial respirators and two remain under strict care also in houses of health.
The official said that in 2012 there were approximately four cases, for 2013 one, 2014 three, and last year three.
