تسبب فيروس الأنفلونزا المستجدة "أنفلونزا الخنازير H1N1" فى وفاة شابين هما محمد عبد السلام علام (27 سنة _ عامل زراعى من قرية السمارة مركز تمى الإمديد) وأحمد إبراهيم شلبى (27 سنة _ من قرية ميت العامل مركز أجا)، وتوفى الاثنان بالمستشفى الدولى بالمنصورة بعد أن ساءت حالتهما، حيث تم حجزهما بالمستشفى وأكدت المعامل المركزية لوزارة الصحة إصابتهما بالفيروس وتم إعطاؤهما عقار التاميفلو ووضعهما على أجهزة التنفس الصناعى إلا أنهما توفيا. أكدت المعامل المركزية لوزارة الصحة اليوم، الأحد، إصابة 9 حالات بفيروس الأنفلونزا المستجدة "أنفلونزا الخنازيرH1N1 "، بعد أن قامت بتحليل المسحة الأولى لهم.
